| How have you changed? Ha! Ha!
What do you remember about a favorite teacher? Writing poems in class and passing them back and forth to Joan Butler and Pat Kelly. Mr. Furlong caught us! The poem was about him and his soon to be wife! Boy was I embarrassed when he read it to the whole class and wouldn’t give it back. It was funny! What has given you the greatest satisfaction in your life? Getting to know and love God more closely!! It’s taken a long time and I’m still working on it. Do you have any words of wisdom to share? Trust in God for everything. What do you remember about a favorite teacher? One of the classes that I really enjoyed was Sr. Julia Ann’s Bookeeping . Towards the end of the marking period the class was making a lot of noise. Sr. Julia walked in and was angry. She said that the whole class would get a “D”. Well, I got mad at her and said , "Hell, I don’t deserve it! "Sister heard the remark, and I admitted saying it. She marched me off to the office, my mother was not happy with me , and I spent three days thinking about it in detention! I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed all the letters and news of all my classmates from SMHS. |
