St. Michael's was always an important part of my life. Like a number of others in the class of 1952, I was baptized in the parish (by Father Joe Murphy), entered kindergarten and graduated from the high school 13 years later. I met my wife, Barbara Moraghan, class of 1955, at a St. Michael's alumni meeting. We have two children, Susan and Tom. Our first grandchild, Madison, was born last December and our second grandchild is expected in mid-November.
After high school I graduated from St. Peter's College and NYU Law School. In 2005 I retired from my law firm after 45 years of practice as a trial attorney. Last year Barbara and I became members of the Jesuit sponsored Ignatian Volunteers. As part of that program, I work as an attorney at Catholic Community Services in Newark one day a week on immigration matters." |
