After graduation from St. Michaels, I entered St.Francis Hospital School of Nursing, and graduated in 1955 with an R.N. degree. In 1957 I married George Milne, and we were blessed with five sons and a daughter.
While raising our children, George was a Fireman in Jersey City, retiring as Deputy Chief: I worked for 10 years in St. Francis Hospital in Jersey City, and another 25 years in Riverview Hospital in Red Bank, N.J. I nursed in many areas including medical surgical, infection control, and employee health. My favorite job, however, was working in the ER Unit, I loved it!
With our children grown, George and I are now retired. We enjoy golfing, traveling, and enjoying our winters in Florida . Most of all we enjoy spoiling our five grandchildren.
My years at St.Mikes were happy ones. I still keep in contact with the friends I made during my high school years.
